"This tastes like...biscuits!"

Getting our kids to eat healthy nutritious meals and snacks is a battle. We know their health is at stake but the constant struggle is exhausting. We often just give up and give in. So the Irish Heart Foundation wished to promote nutritiously balanced recipes that kids would actually want to eat.

For this project we wanted funny, endearing and honest reactions from kids as they voice their dislike of vegetables and ‘healthy’ meals. We then filmed those kids tasting food from the IHF recipes and giving their reactions / verdict. We were looking for endorsements from the kids.

Deliverables included four separate edits focused on different aspects of the IHF messaging  We needed to ensure that the parents and kids are relaxed and comfortable in the filming environment so as to get the best open and honest ‘performance’ from them. We also ensured that the environment was not only practical for our filming purposes, but also had adequate comfortable space for people to wait, chill-out or play when not being filmed.
